My sweet little ninth graders are currently reading The Taming of the Shrew.  Why?  Well, for one, it's a classic Shakespearean comedy that invites discussions about gender equality.  But really it's an excuse to watch this three times in one day.



And if that's not worth trudging through a convoluted text with eighty-five ninth graders in the last week of school, well I don't know what is.
